We’ve just added Cardiff Central, Shrewsbury, and Newport stations to our Briteway navigable stations.
Fredi Nonyelu, Chief Executive of Briteyellow said, “This is a wonderful day for elderly and disabled passengers visiting Cardiff Queen Street. Everyone will now be able to plan visits and rehearse their route though-out their journey. We are delighted to be working with Transport for Wales to bring this innovation into the rail market for the first of its kind.”
Cardiff Central railway station, located in the city centre, is one of the city’s two urban railway station hubs, alongside Cardiff Queen Street.
Newport railway station is the second-busiest station in Wales, after Cardiff Central. The station is owned by Network Rail.
Shrewsbury railway station located in Shropshire is the hub of rail services to and from Wales.
The stations are managed by Transport for Wales, who have worked with Briteyellow to develop the Briteway app.
